I really want to do something different to my hair and I thought it would be cool to get red and blonde highglights but my husband doesnt think it will look good.

Well, that depends on the look you're going for. If you are kinda gothy, then red and bleached chunks might be cute. But if you aren't looking for something really wild, probably a few reds and medium browns would be better.

No. They fade, and sometimes highlights don't turn out the right color on really dark hair. Blonde on black wouldn't even look all that great. If you're young, short hair with some pink in it looks good sometimes if you're trying to go extreme, i like natural hair color on women best myself though. I'm tellin ya though it's easy to **** up highlighting black hair.
