Highlights in brown hair?

I have naturally brown hair. I want to add some hightlights but I'm not sure what color to go for. I was thinking blonde but I don't know which shades would look nice. A really golden blonde or a honey blonde or what.. ? I'm pretty sure I have the complexion to go a bit blonde because I used to have naturally blonde hair when I was younger. Any color suggestions or pictures would be nice.

I am glad to hear that you are taking into consideration what the highlights will look like with your complexion. Without us actually seeing you in good light it is hard for us to say for sure, but I agree with the previous poster that a honey blond and a shade of red would be nice. Using more than one color when you highlight can help make the coloring appear a bit more natural, and more dimensional.

Ask a reputable hair stylist before you make your final choice. If they have any wigs there you can always try those out to get an idea of what it would look like too.

I have medium/dark brown hair, and I used to have baby blonde highlights. It looked very nice and I'm sure it will look great on you too!
