Highlights for natural curly red hair?

I have natural curly red hair and i would like to get it highlighted. I don't want to go too blond because there are enough blonds at my school. and I don't want to cover up the natural color too much. What color would you think would be best?

I would say make your hair ia more reddish-brownish. It is a lot more sophisticated than red with blonde highlights, and red and blonde is not always a great combination.

Consider getting lowlights instead. Your hair is rather light already %26amp; you may end up closer to blond than you want.

I also have red hair (copper red). i would suggest maybe a golden color to compliment the red tone that you have.
