What color highlights can i get for black hair and caramel skin,without it looking ridiculous?

I've thought about some colors but since my hair is black like almost all of them seem to be RIDICULOUS!

But i really want to get highlights can you suggest some colors with pictures pleasE????

I have black hair and I have some dark brown highlights and some light brown highlights. They are very thin and look very naturally and nice!
