Im olive/tan and my hair is currently black i was thinking about getting it done all a light brown hair for the summer,Or just add burgandy,and caramel highlights....what do you think?

Caramel highlights would be perfect for summer. One color is just not dimensional enough to look like you've spent a lot of time in the sun, which is what everyone wants to look like.

I had them done and i am olive skin and have brown hair, and i looked a right state lol!

Why dont u try going brown first then see if you think it would look better with highlights in

burgnady and caramel would look perfect for your skin tone, I would go for this for now...theres still a while to go until summer so you can always choose to re-dye later! Black, as you know, is harder to lighten so starting off with these highlighted sections would provide a good "starting point" for your dark hair :]

I would like light brown hair with blonde highlights, kinda natural looking. But that might be too drastic looking, like, too much of a change. But I like your idea too.

im a hair dresser at a top london salon and i blieve it completely depends on your look skin tone ect. i blieve looking at ur picture get one solid colour maby a light brown then lighten it up with some low lights and also if you feel you want anything else done get blonde highlights but natural blonde not bleached
