If so, how did you like it and would you do it again. How does it look on black to dark brown hair and what would you recomend?

I did,I have jet black hair and my high lights was nice.

Just don't get the high lights too light/blond,that makes it look tacky on dark hair.

Get like a chocolate brown/golden brown/blond kinda shade.

Ask the hairstylist,they should be able to tell you.

yeah i have really dark brown hair and have ash blonde panels put in, the hair dresser has to bleach the hair first and then put it under heat then once that is done you can put any colour of toner you like over it!

i really liked it, my hair is almost black. but when it starts growning out it looks horrible, so if you plan on doin it be sure your willing to keep it up every 3 weeks or so.

i have dark brown hair and i put in light brown highlights. I liked it, it really depends on who you go. The first lady i went to she put me through a cap. that hurt like hell and it looked like crap!!! then the second girl i went to did it with the foil and she told me that my hair was too long for the cap, she couldn't believe that the lady did that! I really liked the way it looked when the second girl did it. My advice is if you have long hair and the person you go to wants to put you through a cap, walk away!!! it only works with short hair. The best way is foil, it gives the best results and it looks more natural.

I do it all the time on my clients in the spring and summer months and it looks very pretty. But dont go too crazy with it, I think that subtle highlights look very natural. Go to your stylist and work together with her/him to choose the perfect shade for you.

I have red hair, but my sister has brown hair. She has put blonde higlights in, copper/ auborn, light brown, etc. My favorite is almsot like a copper/ light brown. Especially if you have darker hair. :)

what is your skin tone? i'm very fair and naturally have very dark brown hair. i got very natural-looking highlights, just slightly lighter than my natural hair and it's really brightened it up. is that what you mean? or do you want like chunky, blonde highlights?

I have darkish brown hair and I got some light red highlights put in it. In my friends and my opinion we think it looks cute. I don't know. I guess it depends on ur perspective of colors.

If it's ur 1st time getting highlights then u should try washout type first, then if u find a color u like u could find it in....... not washout.

When I have black hair, I sometimes put blue highlights in it. I loved it and would definitely do it again. and other times I put bronze/reddish gold hilights. I love that one too. It looks quite natural. Obviously my coworkers know its not, but I get lots of compliments.
